Terms of Use

Thomas County Released Inmates is privately owned and has no affiliation with a government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offers a Fair Credit Reporting Act service for credit, employment, insurance, or tenant decisions. The site organizes Thomas County and Georgia custody-record resources. It is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency.

Nature of This Website

This is a private reference site with no authority over any public office. It does not hold official booking, court, release, corrections, or supervision records. It cannot verify current custody, release a person, post bond, or file a document with Thomas County or Georgia.

The guides point readers toward sheriff, court, corrections, parole, supervision, federal, and immigration resources. Some pages also connect readers with independent research tools. Use of the site means acceptance of these terms.

Acceptable Use Rules

Visitors must use the site lawfully and without interfering with other people or the service itself. In particular, a visitor must not:

  • Break any local, state, federal, or other applicable law.
  • Use information to stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harass a person.
  • Use site content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated decision.
  • Attempt access to an account, server, system, or data without authorization.
  • Run automated bots, crawlers, scrapers, or bulk extraction tools.
  • Damage, overload, disrupt, or impair the site for other visitors.

No Consumer Reports

Thomas County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide a background check, credit report, or consumer report. Its advertising and search partners do not provide screening services through this site. Visitors agree not to use any site information for:

  • A decision to hire, retain, promote, discipline, or dismiss a worker.
  • Tenant selection, housing eligibility, or another rental decision.
  • Creditworthiness, lending, or an insurance rate or eligibility decision.
  • A license, permit, benefit, or government-program eligibility decision.
  • Any other purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Links and Independent Services

The site links to sheriff and corrections pages, release records, government portals, courts, legal resources, and outside search providers. A link is supplied for convenience and does not endorse the destination. Thomas County Released Inmates does not control an outside site's content, data practices, availability, security, prices, or results. Review that service's own terms and privacy policy before using it.

Service Provided As Is

All pages and tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties. No promise is made that:

  • Information will always be accurate, complete, or current.
  • The site will operate without interruption.
  • Every error, defect, bug, or security weakness will be absent.
  • An outside provider's search will return a complete result.

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing on this private site is an official statement by the Thomas County Sheriff's Office, a jail, a court, Georgia corrections, or another government agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site, its owners, contributors, and service providers are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss arising from access to, reliance on, inability to use, or use of the site or an outside link.

User Indemnification

A visitor agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Thomas County Released Inmates, its owners, contributors, and providers from claims, damages, duties, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that visitor's site use, misuse, violation of law, or breach of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless another owner is identified, the site's original text, graphics, logos, layout, and code belong to Thomas County Released Inmates or its content and technology partners. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, sold, or modified without prior written permission, except where applicable law permits limited use.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version becomes effective when posted on this page. Continued access after posting means the visitor accepts the revised terms.

Suspension or Loss of Access

Access may be restricted, suspended, or ended at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice. This right includes action taken to protect the site, enforce these terms, respond to misuse, or comply with law.

Georgia Governing Law

Georgia law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Georgia, unless controlling law requires a different forum.

Severability of Provisions

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. The affected provision will be narrowed or adjusted only to the extent needed to make it lawful and enforceable.
