Please contact the responsible agency for official help. This is a privately operated reference site, not a Thomas County or Georgia government office. We cannot confirm whether someone is in custody, release a person, accept or post bond, or retrieve an official booking or release record. The sheriff, jail, clerk, corrections department, parole board, supervision office, or federal agency that holds the record must answer those requests.
Find the Correct Records Office
Thomas County custody questions usually begin with the Sheriff's Office and jail. The current inmate roster and separate released filter provide quick public checks, but jail staff should confirm current bail, charges, case numbers, and a recent custody change. Administrative requests are best made during the office schedule shown below. The non-emergency line is displayed as available around the clock.

Choose the route that matches the record. County jail, court, state corrections, parole, community supervision, federal prison, and immigration custody are separate systems.
- To locate a released county detainee or learn how to request the release record, use the full process on the Thomas County released-inmate home page.
- For parole or felony probation after release, consult Post-Release Supervision. The DCS Thomasville Field Office is at 430 South Pinetree Blvd., Thomasville, GA 31792, phone 229-225-4021, and is open Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
- To review the newest jail exits, read the official timestamps through the 24-Hour Releases guide. The sheriff publishes a recent released filter rather than a guaranteed fixed-window archive.
- For a state sentence date, use Release Date Lookup. For a participating-agency custody alert, use the VINE Inmate Check, then verify the alert with the agency.
- For a particular jail, court, state, supervision, registry, or federal system, select its page from the Facilities list below. Each page identifies the correct official lookup.
- For a sentenced Georgia state prisoner, use the Georgia Department of Corrections offender search. GDC lists inmate questions at 404-656-4661 and directs written verification to Inmate Records and Information, P.O. Box 1529, Forsyth, GA 31029.
- For a federal prisoner, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator. For immigration detention, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator. Neither federal tool replaces the Thomas County jail record.
Court records may explain why a person left jail even after a short roster entry disappears. The Thomas County Clerk of Superior, State, and Juvenile Courts lists 229-225-4108 and provides a criminal docket search and e-certified document requests. The clerk record can show bond, plea, sentence, dismissal, probation, or revocation activity. It does not serve as a live custody roster.
